Anyone looking for a 3D printable case for the T-Deck uLisp Machine might be interested in this on Thingiverse:

Has anyone tried it?

Just printed the first part, not the exact same but a remix (by bmidgley) as I wanted the trackball to be accessible. It is pretty thick, I hope I can make something thinner later on or at least round off the edges to make it nicer to hold. Will report back once I have tested the full case.

So I have it fully printed now but I don’t love it. I think the design by Lilygo looks more promising: https://github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/T-Deck/tree/master/shell

I will try to print this, probably next week, by converting from the step files and let you know how it works out.

Thanks for the photo! Look forward to seeing the second version.

I have been using the one you link to @johnsondavies. I don’t love it, as it doesn’t have much space for a lipo battery and doesn’t click together, but it does work with a bit of glue or tape.

I found the rollerball to be highly unusable, so covering that up was a non-issue. I use the touch screen only.

Yes, I gave up trying to get any sense out of the trackball.

By the way, someone has raised an issue about problems trying to use the case design on GitHub:
